Tuesday 2/25/20: Last Practice at Darby, 5:00-8:00.  We will be doing end of season wrap up, voting on awards, getting assignments for State Meet and even doing gymnastics!

Thursday 2/27/20: 7:30 pm. Set up for State Meet.  We need all gymnasts there to help set up the warmup gym, main gym, judges tables, etc.  We can use ALL OF THE HELP WE CAN GET!  Parents, siblings, boyfriends, friends ALL WELCOME!  We have to unload the rented equipment from a large truck before setting it up- so if we have some Adults that are willing to help in the truck- that is VERY beneficial.

Friday 2/28/20: Team Night of State Meet Competition.  Gymnasts will report no later than 3:00 to work the State Meet.  The Meet should be over by around 9:00

Saturday 2/29/20:  Individual Competition of the State Meet. Gymnasts will report by 11:00 to work the State Meet.  The Meet should be over by around 4:00. All Gymnasts and any other volunteers will all assist in the Teardown of equipment/loading back onto the Truck. This is when we will take any and all help!  Hope to be done by 5:30 or so with this. The more help- the faster it will go!!

Saturday 3/7/20: Team Sleepover at Fliptastic! Gymnastics

Tuesday 3/10/20: Team Banquet at Darby High School Commons- 7:00 pm

Wednesday 3/18/20: Davidson ALL SPORTS Banquet (at Davidson) I believe this starts at 6:00. (this is for Davidson ONLY)

District Championship Info:

Saturday: (meet is at Worthington Kilbourne)

7:15 am- Report time for Davidson  (at Darby)

7:30 am– Bus Departs for Worthington Kilbourne High School

9:15 am- Competition for am session Begins (Davidson is in the 1st Flight, there are 3 flights total in the morning)

11:15 am– Report Time for Darby  & Bradley (at Darby)

11:30 am- Buts Departs for Worthington Kilbourne High School

1:00 pm- Processional/March In for ALL Schools

1:45 pm- Competition for pm Session Begins  (Bradley is in the 1st Flight, Darby is in the last flight of this session, there are 3 flights)

~6:30 pm– Bus Departs for Hilliard Davidson High School (from Worthington Kilbourne)

Although this meet is divided into 2 sessions (am & pm) it is ONE championship meet.  All of the awards are done at the end of the pm session- and all Gymnasts must be present for the awards portion of the day. 

There will be T-Shirts available  the Day of the meet if anyone is interested. If I get anymore information before the meet- I will send it along.

***Davidson Gymnasts- they may bring in a slip to  leave after their session with their Parents (their own, and not anyone else’s parents) to get Lunch- but must be back to Kilbourne by 4:00!! No One will be released without a slip turned in the day before the meet. They are also welcome to stay onsite during the pm session as well.

Here are some updates and details on the upcoming weeks:

Wednesday 2/5: Practice will end at 7:30

Thursday 2/6: Darby & Bradley OCC Championship Meet.  Davidson Gymnasts are not required to attend- but are welcome to! Team Meal for Darby/Bradley in Darby Commons at 3:00. Competition will begin at 6:00 at Worthington Kilbourne.

Monday 2/10: Senior Night Meet. Senior Night announcements/Activities will start around 6:10. Competition will begin at 6:30

Tuesday 2/11: We are the “Host Site” for the Buckeye OCC division that evening.  Bradley & Darby Gymnasts will report at 3:30 to set up for the meet to set up.  I will provide pizza for dinner for the gymnasts.   I will need several of the gymnasts to assist with score flashing, etc.   Otherwise, they can stay and work on homework,etc.  Davidson will report at 7:00.  We will have a short practice for all from the end of competition ( around 7:15/7:30) until 9:00 when we will tear down the equipment.

Wednesday 2/12:  Davidson OCC Championship Meet.  Bradley and Darby gymnasts are not required to go, but are welcome to if they would like to.   Davidson Gymnasts need to report at 3:00 for a 3:15 bus time.  I will provide Jimmy Johns for dinner on site at the Meet for the Davidson Gymnasts that evening. Competition will being at 6:00 at the Marysville Early Career Center (833 N,. Maple St, Marysville)

Tuesday 2/18:  We are hosting the “District Invitational” meet- this is the meet where gymnasts in the District can compete on any event that they are not scheduled to compete on at the District Championship on Saturday 2/22. We will be having Jimmy Johns for dinner that night for the gymnasts.
