Where: Davidson Main Gym

Time: 4:45-5:45 pm

Returning Gymnasts- Please make sure to bring BOTH your Competition Leotard and your Black Warmup Leotard.

New Gymnasts- You will borrow a warm up leotard from a returning gymnast for the pictures.

Here is the link for the Picture Order forms (I will have hard copies tomorrow at Davidson) Please have your gymnast prepared with what to order and the correct payment amount.

Team Meeting!

When: Wednesday 11/8  7:30-9:00

Where: Davidson Commons. 

This meeting is MANDATORY and every gymnast and at least 1 Parent/Guardian MUST be in attendance.

Please remember that ALL gymnasts coming out for the team MUST have their up to date Physicals PRIOR to Friday November 3rd!  Please make sure that this is taken care of ahead of time!!!

Practice Schedule: 1718 Season

Tuesday– 5:30-8:30 @ Davidson

Wednesday– 5:30-8:30 @ Davidson

Friday – 4:30-7:30 @ Davidson

Sunday– 2:00-4:30 @ Fliptastic!

Days, times, & Locations are subject to change at any time. This is the general schedule- but there will be some exceptions.

Tryouts for 17-18 Hilliard Gymnastics

Tryouts will be held at Fliptastic! Gymnastics (both days)

Friday November 3rd: 3:30-5:00

Sunday November 5th: 1:30-4:30

Please see the Minimum Requirements for details on making the team.

The practice Schedule is currently being finalized.

There will be some changes to the days/times from last season.

I will get the updated practice schedule out as soon as it is finalized!

Conditioning will begin on WEDNESDAY October 11th (instead of Monday the 9th)

4:30-5:45 in the Davidson Wrestling Room.

Friday 2/24:

• Practice- 3:30-5:30 at Fliptastic!
• Team Meal- 6:00/6:30-8:30 (approximate)

Saturday 2/25:

DISTRICT CHAMPIONSHIP MEET

Location:  Thomas Worthington High School 

• 7:30 am – Bus Departs from Bradley (DARBY GYMNASTS ONLY)
• 9:20 am- Competition for Morning Session starts
  • Darby is in Flight 3 (starting on Vault)
  • Darby Comp. will not start prior to 9:45
• 11:30 am- Bus Departs from Bradley (BRADLEY & DAVIDSON GYMNASTS)
• 1:00 PM- Processional  for All Schools in Morning & Afternoon Session. (this is ALL one meet- just divided into 2 sessions)
• 1:40 pm– Competition for Afternoon Session begins.
  • Davidson is in First Flight of the afternoon (Beam)
  • Bradley is in the Second Flight of the afternoon (Bars)
• 5:45 pm– Awards are scheduled for this time

**There will be NO RETURN BUS in between the sessions.  DARBY GYMNASTS: If you would like to leave after the Processional and then return by 5:00- you must turn in a slip by Friday.  ALL GYMNASTS are REQUIRED to be at the Meet during the Awards portion of the day.  Gymnasts are only permitted to leave the meet with their own parent. 

DISTRICT MEET – Other Information

• Top 3 Teams Advance to the State Meet
• Top 9 Individuals on each event Advance to the State Meet

STATE MEET:

Thursday March 2nd- Set up for State Meet at Bradley (probably start around 7:30 pm)

ALL GYMNASTS should be prepared to work BOTH FRIDAY AND SATURDAY of the State Meet.

Friday March 3rd– Gymnasts report to Bradley by 3:00 pm.

Saturday March 4th- Gymnasts report to Bradley by 11:15 am.
