Updates- 2015 Districts & States
Here are some updates for the upcoming 2 weeks:
Friday 2/27- Practice 3:30-5:30 at Fliptastic! followed by Team Meal at Coach Carol’s house.
Saturday 2/28- District Championship Meet
7:20- Darby and Davidson meet at Darby for Bus
7:30- Bus Departs Darby
9:20 – Morning Session Competition begins (Davidson is in the first flight, Darby is in the third Flight)
11:20- Bradley meet at Darby for Bus
11:30- Bus Departs
1:00- Processional/March in for all schools
1:40- Afternoon Session Competition begins (Bradley is in the first Afternoon flight (flight 4))
Awards are tentatively scheduled for 5:45- but may start earlier.
All gymnasts are required to be there until the end of the meet/awards.
Darby and Davidson Gymnasts may leave the meet with Their parent to get lunch- but a slip must be turned in by Friday 2/27. Gymnasts will also need a slip to ride home with their parent instead of riding the bus home (both of these things can be indicated on the same slip if you would like)
District Meet Logistics:
Although there is a Morning and Afternoon session- this is all one meet.
The top 8 finishers on each event will advance to the State Meet as well as the top 3 teams.
Practice the Week of 3/2:
Monday 3/2- Practice 5:00-8:00 at Darby (we will hold this practice no matter the outcome of the District Meet) this is mandatory.
Practice the rest of the week will be determined by the outcome of the District meet and if we have any State Qualifiers- Stay tuned!!
State Meet: Friday 3/6-Saturday 3/7:
All Gymnasts should be prepared to work Friday and Saturday of the State meet as we host the meet at Hilliard Bradley High School.

Updates- Districts, States, Awards
Friday 2/21– we will have team meal at Coach Carol’s house immediately after practice- food will be provided.
Saturday 2/22- District Championship timetable: (Meet at Worthington Kilbourne High School)
7:00 am– report to Darby for Davidson& Darby- but will leave at 7:15 am.
9:05 am– Competition starts for morning session
11:15 am– report to Darby for Bradley- Bus will leave at 11:30 am
1:05 pm– processional for all Schools (March in)
1:40 pm- Competition begins for Afternoon Session
5:45 pm– Estimated time to begin Awards for the meet
***If you ordered a District T-Shirt, they are $15.00. I will be writing one check for all of the shirts- so please just give your money to me (if a check- just make it out to Carol Eskay)
Monday 2/24– PRACTICE- this is mandatory practice for all gymnasts- time stays the same
Wednesday 2/26– PRACTICE TBD depending on outcome of Saturday’s meet.
Friday 2/28 & Saturday 3/1- State Gymnastics Meet (Hosted at Bradley High School)
Each gymnast (if they are not competing in the state meet) is required to work at least one day of the Meet. We will have openings for gymnasts to be able to work 2 days if they would like.
Tuesday March 4th: Darby All Winter Sports Banquet (At Darby)
Thursday March 6th: Bradley All Winter Sports Banquet (At Bradley)
Tuesday March 11th: Davidson All Winter Sports Banquet (At Davidson)
Wednesday March 12th: (TENTATIVE) Combined Hilliard Gymnastics Banquet (Location TBD- Time- 6:00 pm
Saturday March 15th- 7pm, Fliptastic! Gymnastics- Team Sleepover (if they meet their Beam Challenge Goal!!) This date/Time is still being finalized

Although School is Closed for Wednesday 1/29- we may be able to have the meet.

Monday 1/7/13:
Darby and Bradley– DRESS UP for school on Monday. Team Meal in Davidson commons right after school. Be ready to get on the bus by 4:00. I will give equipment assignments when I get to the school.
Davidson: NO PRACTICE. Rest up and be ready for Wednesday!
