Friday 12/5:
Flip a thon will be held during practice
Sweatshirt orders are due (we don’t need the money until next weekend-Checks payable to “Taylor Marketing”)
Orders for the Paw Print Charms are due

Wednesday 12/10:
First meet of the Season!!! yay!

Team Meals-:
Thank you so much to all that have already signed up to help with a team meal. We have had a bit of a reduction in the overall number of gymnasts- so it will most likely be fine to have 2 people signed up for a meal. So- as you are looking at open sign ups- lets try to get 2 volunteers for each meal before adding a third.
Clarification- there is not a pre-set menu for the meals. The parents that sign up for a particular meal can coordinate what they would like to bring. I just ask that you consider the overall nutritional value and keep in mind that this will be what they eat before competing.

Hilliard Invite sign up:
We have had a lot of activity on the sign up- but we still have a lot of items, etc. to cover. Please let me know if you have any questions.

On-Line Form Sign off and Participation Fee:
We still have MANY gymnasts that do not have all of their forms signed off on by parents in home access. Please make sure that you are going in to check- even if you did this in the fall.
New this season- you have to re-acknowlege your in person attendance or video viewing of the Athletic meeting that is held by the athletic department.
You must have the $100 participation fee paid online
All forms must be signed off on- a current physical on file- and the Participation fee paid prior to next Wednesday 12/10, or I am not permitted to allow a gymnast to compete.
There are still several Gymnasts that do not have current Physicals on file with the school- This again, MUST be up to date asap. If you are unable to get in to your doctor- places like the Little Clinic will do a sports physical.

Team Fees:
I would like to have the team fees collected before the girls go out for winter break.
If you have any questions or concerns with this- please contact me individually
Please remember that these fees will be paid to “Hilliard Bradley Athletic Boosters” (if a check is being written)

11/22 Practice Change!!

Due to Weather- Practice is Postponed until 1:00-3:30 today

Practice will now be held at FLIPTASTIC! Gymnastics

Fundraisers and Team Fees

Flip-a-thon: (checks made payable to BRADLEY Athletic Boosters-Gymnastics)
*We will have the Flip-a-thon during our Friday, December 5th Practice.
* This form is on the “Forms” tab
*You may use any or all of any funds raised from the Flip-a-thon towards team fees owed this season. (this does NOT include the Participation fee that goes to the Athletic department)
Swarovski Paw Tag Sale:
*This is an opportunity to raise funds towards our general team funds
*This is not a required number to sell- do what you can! This might make a nice gift!
*We will make $6.38 on each paw sold
*Orders must be in by December 5th in order to be in by Christmas
*Turn orders with forms/money in to Lesa Kuebler (Janel’s Mom) and she will get them to the main coordinator.
*The order form is on the Forms Tab
Team Fees: (this does not include the Athletic Participation Fees)
Returning Gymnasts: $120.00
New Gymnasts: $170.00
All gymnasts will be getting a new Competition Leotard this season as well as a team T-shirt. New Gymnasts will also be getting their Team Bag, Warmup Jacket/Pants, Warmup Leo, & Briefs (these are all items that we will use for subsequent years).

OCC 2014 Info

Friday Night:
The gymnasts will have practice, then team meal at the School.  Following the Basketball game, we will be setting up the equipment (like the Hilliard Invitational set up)
Saturday:
  • Each team is in a different session (3 sessions)
    • 1st Session- Bradley
      • 7:15 am report to School
      • Into of Teams/Beginning of Competition- 9:45 am
      • Awards(in the commons) at Approx~ 12:30
    • 2nd Session- Darby
      • 11:15 Report to school
      • Intro of Teams/Beginning of Competition- 1:25
      • Awards (in the commons) at Approx~3:45
    • 3rd Session- Davidson
      • 2:30 pm Report to School
      • Intro of Teams/Beginning of Competition- 4:40
      • Awards (in the commons) at Approx~ 7:00

Updates Week of 1/13/14

Monday 1/13:
Davidson & Bradley– Away meet at Worthington Kilbourne.   Be ready to get on the bus by 4:00
Darby- Practice at 5:00 at Darby Fieldhouse.
Parents:
We need to complete the Team Meal sign ups!! we do not have anyone signed up for Monday 1/13.  We will only need 2 people for this as it is only 2 teams (11 Bradley Gymnasts, 5 Davidson Gymnasts)
Please consider signing up for this meal if you have not done so yet.  If you are interested in signing up, but have trouble getting the items for dinner there by 3:00- we can send an email out to get help for that part.
We will also be hosting the 3 sessions of the OCC Championship meet on Saturday February 8th.  We will be having a sign up to coordinate the items for the coaches/judges room- stay tuned!
Now that we have completed the Flip a thon- we need to start getting the team fees turned in (this is separate from the School Participation fee)
Info on team fees:
Returning Gymnasts: $75.00 (unless you are getting a new leotard- then it will be $160.00)
New Gymnasts: $175.00These amounts can be covered by fundraising in all or part.  Checks can be made out to “Hilliard Bradley Boosters- Gymnastics”

Reminders for 12/20 meet

Gymnasts- please remember to bring the following:
  • Warmup Leo
  • Competition Leo
  • Warmup Jacket and Pants
  • Black leggings (if you have them- if you own more than one pair- please bring them)  We might be using these in the team photo.
